~50th Anniversary Capital Campaign~

**50th Anniversary Capital Campaign Update!**
December 1, 2011
Dear Friends of the Society:
I am extremely pleased to announce that the 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign has raised a little over $104,900 towards its goal of $150,000. Thank you to everyone who has made a pledge or a contribution. We have a group of very loyal supporters and we appreciate all that you do. A full list of contributors can be viewed by clicking "DONORS" below. All contributions of $1,000 or more will be permanently acknowledged on a plaque at the Brick Tavern Museum.
I am also pleased to report that the heating portion of the Climate Control Project is completed. The existing system in the Brick Tavern Museum was modified so that only the first floor is heated. This was the recommendation from the 2007 Conservation Assessment Program. Interestingly, it is still about 60° on the second floor and in the upper 60’s on the first. Temperature and humidity are monitored on a regular basis. Humidity control still needs to be addressed. Hopefully, we will see the result of this reflected in our utility bills. Exterior refurbishment of the Museum by Heritage Builders/Perfect Painters of Ithaca is nearly complete. An extensive list of concerns has been addressed and we are happy with the result.
The Capital Campaign officially ended September 2011. Thank you again for giving Schuyler history a future.
Regards,
Jean G. Hubsch
